Maybe it was just me, but it seemed like half the town of Garibaldi was out around dusk to dig for clams. It made for a different view of sunset to have folks out in the low tide waters digging around, but I really like these two photos of them!

Cape Meares
Known for the lighthouse, the area around Cape Meares is actually full of great scenery.
From up above you get a number of different views of the rocks that form the cape, or appear just offshore.
You can also take a short path to what is referred to as the Octopus Tree, for obvious reasons.
And just beyond the tree, you get another great view, looking back to the beach from the cape.
