One of the cool things about this particular overlook along the Samuel H. Boardman Scenic Corridor was that this particular sea stack was large enough that rather than the waves breaking over it, they just sort of went around it, in a circular route, and then met up again on the other side, breaking against each other. You can see a bit of that in the photo above, but better in the one below.
