The trees at Myrtle Beach are still very green in October!
This lake was behind our hotel in Myrtle Beach. We went for a little exploration on the Lake Saturday morning
The puddle of water that gathered inside of this large leaf actually looked more like gelatin or mercury when the wind was blowing.
The rain drop on the verge of falling from the center of this flower looked somehow sad, like it was a tear about to fall.

These strange pads float along in the Italian Gardens at Biltmore, and they always remind me of the pods from Invasion of the Body Snatchers for some reason.
