Known for the lighthouse, the area around Cape Meares is actually full of great scenery.

From up above you get a number of different views of the rocks that form the cape, or appear just offshore.

You can also take a short path to what is referred to as the Octopus Tree, for obvious reasons.

And just beyond the tree, you get another great view, looking back to the beach from the cape.
