We’ve not been to Devil’s Churn during a high tide like this before, so I did not realize how much mud and silt get caught up in the surf, which results in a very milkshake appearance. At least that’s what it looked like to me. Take a look at all of these images and let me know what you think!
This are a few samples of what the drought in the Western States looks like at Hoover Dam. Under normal circumstances, you can see where the water levels would be, and how much was not covered in water on the day after Thanksgiving, 2015.
