Of all the photos I took on this trip through Belgium and The Netherlands, this one might be my favorite. Not because there’s anything famous about the location, but because there is something completely timeless about it. Yes, it was taken in 2016, but it could have just as easily been taken 50-100 years ago or more. How long have locals been riding their bicycle to this park and enjoying a lovely Spring day like that?
