The Wildcat Branch Falls wayside used to be home to a nice shelter house that could be used to get out of the weather, but still out of your car as well. The building is long gone, but the chimney and fireplace still remain. Based on the looks of it, I’d say the fireplace is still a popular place to have a camp fire.
