Janet, we think this is a brown-headed cowbird. He is a bad, bad man. After an initial rush of excitement at seeing a “new” bird, we did research and now understand that he is not a welcome sight at the feeder.

Janet Phillips McKensey not that I know of. I haven’t ever seen one. I learned about them on a birding site.
