OK so maybe Furman isn’t a big name college, and maybe the Palladins don’t come up in sports discussions all that often, but one thing Furman does have going for it, is a lovely campus.
Local residents are known to swing by for a walk around the lake, or on the nature trail, taking in some very scenic views of the campus and the mountains.
And, over the Memorial Day weekend, folks flock to Furman for the Gallabrae, Scottish Games.
